Ang Lee Held Lovemaking Sessions for ‘Lust, Caution’

Ang Lee, the Oscar winning director of ‘Brokeback Mountain’, was so keen to get the sex scenes right in his new movie ‘Lust, Caution’ that he held coaching lessons on the sets.

The film recently won the top award at the Venice Film Festival but censors picked it on for its graphic sexuality, reports contactmusic.com.

Lee said: ‘I coached the actors through the scenes and verbalised it. I’m embodying both of them. I end up playing both parts. With the girl, I put myself into her heart. It’s a film experience I never experienced before.’

Lee also admits that he was daunted by making such a controversial film.

He added: ‘It (story) came from a woman writer who examined female sexualities and challenged the patriotism of the Chinese. It was very brave of her.’
