Senators Still Gaming the Antiwar Charade

Cenk Uygur of The Young Turks is not blind to their game when he rants about the offensive absurdity of the senate condemning the MoveOn ad.

Dear Cinnamon: At first I believed these leftist pitches strewn through the site must be some mistake - could anyone who treats us to so tasteful a celebration of a timeless value, nsmely female physical beauty, really be so heartless as to inflict Ugyur’s buffoonery on us as well? Did we do something that demands such penance? But if you must, please show some balance! While no right-thinking persons could approve of the Senate’s deeds here, still less could they approve of MoveOn’s repellent ad which caused all the trouble in the first place. Why was there no outraged word from you on that? (I wasn’t expecting any from the Young Turks, but you’re different; you merit some respect). The Democratic candidates could easily have defused the matter by issuing a general condemnation of the vile screed. Even Kerry, who ordinarily shows such contempt for those intellectual sluggards stuck in Iraq, had the character to do so. When Obama and CLinton show even less backbone than Kerry, it’s getting pretty low and is a grim omen for the future.
    Best wishes

Political attack ads are offensive by nature, remember last year’s ‘A Vote For Dems is a Vote for Terrorists’ campaign ad? How’s that for a blanket smear?
