Bisexual intern Olivia Wilde – also more affectionately known as Thirteen – on House, is featured in this month’s GQ to promote her new film Year One, also starring Michael Cera and Jack Black.
In the interview, Wilde responds to Megan Fox’s hot crush on her in which the Transformers’ hottie claimed that Wilde was so sexy, “she makes me want to strangle a mountain ox with my bare hands. She’s mesmerizing.” We know exactly what you mean Megan.
Olivia Wilde is a princess in real life, and now she’s a princess in the new movie “Year One.” But her real-life title is waaaaay better than her movie one.
In real life her husband, the filmmaker Tao Ruspoli, is Italian royalty. “It’s kind of hilarious, because my husband and I are so not concerned with it.
All it means to us is having an incredible family history. But it’s still funny. Everyone on set was like, ‘Princess of Italy, Princess of Sodom.’”
“I’m the Princess of Sodom [in the movie], which is a great thing to tell Mom and Dad,” she tells the July issue of Maxim. “‘Who are you playing this time, sweetie?’ ‘I’m the Princess of Sodom!’ My poor parents.”
But Wilde made sure to bone up on her research for her role.
“In my family religion was reserved for weddings and funerals, so once I got the role I had to read up on my Cain and Abel,” she said. “Plus, I had to know about Sodom, so I did a lot of research on sodomy. I’ll do anything for my craft.”
And what about being Megan Fox’s famous girl crush? (Fox once famously said Wilde was so sexy “she makes me want to strangle a mountain ox with my bare hands.”)
“She said, ‘I’ve had a girl crush on you for years, and I hope that doesn’t offend you,’” Wilde told maxim. “And I said, ‘Why would it offend me? I think it’s wonderful.’ Then I said something really nerdy like, ‘I should send you a thank you card!’ She said, ‘Yeah,’ and I just kind of withered. Thank you cards are not sexy!”
With her striking features and piercing eyes, Olivia Wilde has become the benchmark of babeage on the small screen.
She is probably best known for her roles as the sexually intriguing Alex Kelly on The O.C. and the doctor with a disease, named “Thirteen” on House. But Olivia is providing the babeage for the new Harold Ramis comedy, Year One, which opens in theatres everywhere Friday. In addition to starring alongside Jack Black and Michael Sera, Olivia recently took the number one spot on Maxim’s “Hot 100″ list of 2009.
Some may also remember Olivia from her appearance in the Dashboard Confessional video for “Stolen”. And she was this close to getting the role of Vesper in Casino Royale.
Q: What is your definition of “hotness,” and just how hot are you?
A: “Hot” has become a euphemism for all things positive, making it generally acceptable to use to describe everything from a jalapeño to a drum solo. It’s sort of a useful word.
We don’t have to think of appropriate adjectives for people, places, performances, tacos or objects anymore, as they all fit snugly under the glorious umbrella of “hotness.” So I don’t know how hot I am, but I’m honored to be considered as warmer than the average taco.
Q: What’s your hotness regimen?
A: Fourteen tablespoons cayenne pepper in my very hot coffee each morning.
Q: How did you manage to beat out Angelina Jolie (26), Beyoncé (14), Jessica Alba (34) and Michelle Obama (93)? No false modesty, please.
A: Michelle will always be No. 1 on my list. And as for those other goddesses of hotness, I think they have their own list, up on the next level, called Hotter-Than-the-Earth’s-Core.
