Silk Spectre Malin Ackerman Is Hotness!

 

Silk Spectre Character Info (spoilers beware!)

“SILK SPECTRE II (1949-?): Laurie Juspeczyk. Her mother was Sally Jupiter, the original Silk Spectre; her father was the Comedian (although her mother was married to Laurence Shexnayder until 1956). All her life she was brought up to be a superhero, and she began in 1966 around the time of the first meeting of the Crimebusters.

 

 

Shortly thereafter she fell in love with Dr. Manhattan and moved in with him. In 1977 she retired following the Keene Act. In 1985 Dr. Manhattan left Earth, and she moved in with Dan Dreiberg, eventually falling in love with him.

She and Dreiberg broke Rorschach from prison, following which Dr. Manhattan took her to Mars, where she realized the truth about her father. They returned to Earth shortly after the “alien attack,” going to Antarctica to confront Veidt. After that, she took up the identity of Sandra Hollis.”

Malin Ackerman’s Mini Bio

Malin Maria Akerman, born on the 12th of May 1978 was raised in Toronto, Canada and attended York University, studying psychology.

Her U.S. feature film debut was in the independent feature film, “The Utopian Society” where she met the films’ editor, Francesco Sondelli who was also the founding band leader of “Ozono”.

Sondelli was the 2nd editor on “The Utopian Society” and had met Akerman when she went to loop a line of dialog at the then editor’s house. Akerman was eventually absorbed into the the band which changed its name to “The Petal Stones”, where she met and eventually married fellow band member and drummer, Roberto Zincone.

She is the lead singer of a rock band named Ozono, who later changed their name to The Petalstones.

-Ranked #59 on the Maxim magazine Hot 100 of 2008 list.
-Named #80 in FHM magazine’s “100 Sexiest Women in the World 2006″ supplement. (2006).
-Was named one of the “Ten Actors to Watch” by Variety (2007).
