Vanessa Hudgens has gone full frontal and reports claim that the photo that has been published far and wide on the World Wide Web is indeed real.
Early reports from last week claimed that the gorgeous brunette had snapped a picture with a camera phone for her High School Musical sweetie Zac Efron.
No one was clear what to make of the early story but a report from American tabloid, The National Enquirer claimed that the pictures were out and they were being shopped. Now a report claims that they have indeed confirmed that the photo is legit. - UPI
It apparently was taken by Vanessa for Zac and was meant for his eyes only.

Everything was going so well for High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens. Adored by millions of fans worldwide, the clean-cut teenager’s career was soaring when, in September last year, a scandal erupted after nude pictures of her turned up on the internet.
Vanessa, who plays shy schoolgirl Gabriella in the hit Disney movies, managed to survive the embarrassment and says she has no regrets, but admits she learned a tough lesson.
“I think that everything happens for a reason and I wouldn’t take back anything I’ve done,” she says. “I don’t like talking about it because it was something that was meant to be private and I’d still like to keep it as private as I can.
“It was very traumatic and I was extremely upset it happened, but I wouldn’t have been able to get through it if it wasn’t for my family, friends and fans who supported me all the way.”
Vanessa was 18 when the provocative pictures showing her posing naked and in skimpy lingerie appeared. She publicly apologised and, despite speculation she would be dropped from High School Musical 3 – out today – Disney, who referred to it as a “lapse of judgment”, kept her in the cast.
“I feel that I’m growing up and I’m learning,” smiles Vanessa, now 19. “I’m in control of what’s happening next. At times it’s been hard, but I feel so lucky to be where I’m at now.”
Her involvement in the photo scandal hasn’t prevented Vanessa from speaking out in favour of the high moral values in High School Musical 3.
“It doesn’t have any sex, drugs or violence and it’s a feelgood movie,” she says. “I don’t know if they’ll do another one and personally I’m out of the loop because we graduate in this one. But I hope High School Musical lives on because it’s amazing what it’s done for kids. Its positive messages have given them courage and strength to do things that are different.”
Vanessa is talking in a Los Angeles hotel shortly after her return from Europe where she and the cast had been promoting the movie. She arrived with her boyfriend and co-star, 21-year-old Zac Efron, who plays High School’s Troy Bolton.
“The second I met him I thought he was a really cool guy,” Vanessa recalls. “It’s hard not to have chemistry with someone who is quite attractive. We’re both supportive of each other, but we’re doing our own things, too. We have different projects we’re working on.”
Her stint on the High School Musical movies, which began two years ago, not only led to her meeting Zac, but also brought her a novel experience because she’d never been to school as a child, having been home educated by her mother Gina.
“The best part of it was the friends I’ve made,” says Vanessa. “We’ve grown up in the business together, we’ve been through so much and shared so many moments. The last day of shooting was very emotional because we’ve always been able to look forward to doing something else together, like a tour or another movie. But just knowing that this was our last time as a group was… ugh! I can’t even talk about it. We just kept on crying and crying.”
Despite bowing out of the HSM franchise, Vanessa has plenty to look forward to. An accomplished singer and dancer as well as an actress, her first album, V, sold more than half a million copies and her most recent release, Identity, is also doing well.
She has another movie, Bandslam, coming out soon, in which she co-stars with former Friends actress Lisa Kudrow, and has just bought a house in Los Angeles where she lives alone, but expects Zac to be among her frequent visitors.
“I’m growing up and I think it’s really important for a young woman to find her own independence,” Vanessa says.
And if she needs help, her parents are not far away.
“My mom just came over and stocked my fridge with food, so I’m fine in that department,” she laughs. “My parents are amazing. They’re extremely supportive and they know this is something I want. ”
Born in Salinas, Northern California, Vanessa made her start in showbusiness at the age of eight as an actress and singer in local productions of Carousel, The Wizard Of Oz and The King And I.
She made her film debut in Thirteen at the age of 14 and, in 2006, the first High School Musical spawned a hit soundtrack, a worldwide concert tour, a show at Walt Disney World and even a book series. It all helped her land in Forbes magazine’s list of top-earning stars under 21, with estimated annual earnings of more than £1m.
Film offers are rolling in and Vanessa says singing will always feature in her future plans.
And Zak? “Let’s just see,” she laughs. “He’s got great things in his future, so we’re just excited to see where it all goes next.”
